Protecting your home or outdoor space is important, and a good outdoor camera can be an important part of your security strategy. There are many options on the market to choose from, but I have my eye on four. My list includes a budget camera that can work even without WiFi. Focus on Arlo Pro 4 Arlo Pro 4 with flashlight Credit: Arlo The Arlo Pro 4 Spotlight is designed for wireless security, offers two-way audio, and doesn't require a WiFi hub to operate. It's also battery operated, so you can set it up anywhere without having to run wires to keep it running. This Arlo camera comes with 2K high definition video support with HDR as well as color night vision. Amazon also offers multi-camera packages if you need to set up more than one angle in your yard or outdoor space.
The only downside Fax Lists to using an Arlo camera is that you have to pay a monthly subscription to get the most out of it. Still, at under $200 (and often on sale for less), the Arlo Pro 4 Spotlight is one of my favorite outdoor security cameras. Arlo Pro 4 (Currently on Amazon for $199.99, but it's often on sale for under $150.) Not only is the Wyze Cam Outdoor v3 a solid piece of technology, it's also very affordable, especially compared to other battery-powered cameras.
It has full color night vision, a 130-degree field of view and the ability to connect up to four cameras to one base station. There was a glitch last year where some Wyze customers were briefly able to view the video feed of other Wyze users. However, the company quickly fixed the issue and it has yet to reappear. Despite this issue, Wyze continues to offer a true outdoor camera that gets the job done. Wyze Cam Outdoor v2 (Currently $69.99 at Amazon.)
